An intermediate model of the Selmer metal clarinet, imported into the US under license to George M. Its a four piece clarinet with a double-walled barrel tenon and a removable bell. Appears to be nickel silver and unplated. A former owner has soldered a lyre holder over the middle tenon socket. Needs a repad/overhaul. All keys move and I was able to play it up and down, blowing past the leaks until a couple of pads fell out and ended the fun. Tenon corks in good shape, no mouthpiece.

The serial numbers start low and appear well distributed, and the rate of. The company from its inception as Rudall & Rose to its final state as Rudall Carte & Co. In addition to flutes, they made clarinets and oboes plus a full range of brass.
The only number is a '24' stamped between the pad cups on the lower joint. Made in France. Shipped in vintage non-original case. Vintage Noblet Paris Clarinet comes with hard Case. Looks like a good cleaning is in order for the Instrument. I see no cracks, corks look decent this seems to be a nice early piece serial #11552, also has the early company logo.there are a couple of small scratches that are cosmetic but look easy enough to take care of.
